Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus is set to snub an offer from Liverpool and join Bayern Munich next summer, Express reports.
Reus has been one of the Bundesliga’s best players, attracting interest from all across Europe including Premier League clubs Manchester United as well as Chelsea.
Liverpool have also been heavily linked with the German after already spending over £60million in transfers during the current window.
However reports from Germany suggest that the 25-year-old is looking to rejoin former team-mates Mario Gotze and Robert Lewandowski at Bayern Munich next summer.
Pep Guardiola is reportedly a big fan of the winger and is expecting to agree on a £28million deal to bring the former Borussia Mönchengladbach ace to the Allianz Arena.
The Reds were desperate to land a attacker of Luis Suarez’s calibre after the Uruguayan departed to Barcelona in an estimated £75million deal, but will have to look elsewhere.
The Anfield club are however close to completing an £8.5million move for Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy, who scored 14 goals while on loan at Newcastle last season.
