Inter Milan are closing on a deal to ensure a move for Cardiff City’s Gary Medel after an impressive World Cup run with the Chile national team, TalkSPORT reports.
The 26-year-old is considered a top target for the Serie A side looking to rebuild after finishing fifth in the league the previous season.

With Cardiff recently being relegated to the English Championship, many of their stars are expected to leave with Medel being valued at about £7 million.
Internazionale are looking to make an initial bid of £1 million to take him on loan and then completing the additional £6 million in two additional payments.
Galatasaray have also made a late attempt to hijack the deal by making a bid, which is £1 million more than the current offer from Inter.
However, it is said that both clubs will resolve a final fee by the weekend with the Chilean midfielder, who can also play at centre-back, edging closer to a switch from England to Italy.
