Real Madrid and Barcelona are the first clubs in Europe to secure trials with the eight year old Argentine wonder-kid dubbed the new Lionel Messi, according to the Daily Mirror.
Chelsea and Manchester United were understood to be interested in Claudio Gabriel Nancufil, but it is the La Liga giants who have pipped them to securing the youngster on trial.
Nancufil plays for a junior club in Bariloche Argentina, a city in the foothill of the Andes.
He has amazing dribbling skills, is left footed, and very small for his age, all factors that have earned him the nickname ‘Snow Messi.’
His family have secured the services of Sueno Comunicaciones, an agency tasked with securing the youngster with a big money move to Europe.
They have organised a two week trial with both La Liga giants in January.
The BBC are planning to feature Nancufil in an upcoming documentary about Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona.
