Chelsea are one of the clubs monitoring the situation of youngster Sefa Isci from Anderlecht, with Benfica also interested, Daily Star reports.
The Turkish wonderkid is a versatile defender who can be deployed at right back or even at centre-back.
It is believed that Jose Mourinho will purchase the 18-year-old starlet from the Belgium side and then immediately loan him out so he can get more playing experience.
Isci’s agent, Saffet Balkan, thinks that if his client does make the switch to the Blues, he will most probably be loaned out to their partner club.
Balkan said: “Benfica and Chelsea are interested in Sefa Isci.
“Chelsea want Isci to loan to their partner club Vitesse.
“Benfica made an enquiry for Sefa after his performances against them in the Youth Champions League.
“Benfica were impressed with Sefa’s performances in the Youth Champions League and the Viareggio Cup.” Balkan told Turkish Football.
