Chelsea are facing a problem as they have too many foreign players in the squad and could look to offload Fernando Torres with the recent arrival of Didier Drogba, Telegraph reports.
With only a quota of only 17 players from abroad over the age of 21, the club now have 18, all of whom are in competition for first team places.
Jose Mourinho has revealed he will be willing to sell Torres for £20million, less than half of what they paid for him back in 2011.
However, if they cannot find a side interested in the services of the Spanish international, the Blues could be forced to sell star goalkeeper Petr Cech with Paris Saint-Germain currently monitoring his situation.
At the moment, Atletico Madrid are considering a move to bring back their former striker but is believed to be unwilling to pay upwards of £20million.
Elsewhere, Monaco could also make a move for the 30-year-old striker if the French side lose their main front man Radamel Falcao.
