Chelsea starlet Thorgan Hazard is set to join Borussia Monchengladbach on a season-long loan, Daily Mail reports.
Thorgan (brother of Eden Hazard) may have just returned from two seasons in the Belgium league but is already prepared to be shipped back out this time to Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach.
The move will be seen as a huge step up, after the 21-year-old won the Belgium Player of the Year with Zulte Waregem last season.
Hazard was also extremely close into making Belgium’s World Cup squad, narrowly missing out to Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj.
And his impressive performances have not gone un-noticed, with Bundesliga clubs Schalke, Wolfsburg, and Mochengladbach all interested in bringing over the Belgian starlet.
However it is Mochegladbach that seems to have signed the winger, with sporting director Max Eberl stating: “We were always going to make an attacking signing, no matter what the situation is with Luuk de Jong and Peniel Mlapa, and this will be Thorgan Hazard.
“We have exchanged contracts with Chelsea and we have agreed with Thorgan, we have all agreed and now just need to sign the contracts.”
