Wenger signed a new three year deal with the Gunners yesterday ending any speculation he could leave the north London club this summer.
The new deal will bring new pressure to the job for the Frenchman who has been criticised despite leading Arsenal to the FA Cup trophy and a top four finish.
Wenger has promised fans that he will be doing all he can to bring in some world class talent this summer.
“Yes, they should expect that (a busy summer in the transfer market),” Wenger told Arsenal Player.
“What I can promise is that we work very hard on a market that is very, very congested with many people who have a lot of money.
“But we have a big advantage, players want to join us and if we find the right quality I’m sure we can strengthen the team.
“We want moments like this [cup success] every year. We were close, it was a very close race in the Premier League and in the FA Cup we won it.”
