Arsenal midfield duo Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby are set to make their comeback after being named on the team sheet to face Norwich this weekend, according to Daily Mail.
Wilshere suffered a broken foot while on duty for England after a tackle from Liverpool’s Daniel Agger left him sidelined ever since the fifth of March with team-mate Abou Diaby returning from injury after being sidelined for 15 months.
The injury suffered by the English midfielder was said to dim Wilshere’s World Cup hopes, but a swift return could now give him a place in the FA Cup final against Hull City as well as a place in Roy Hodgson’s squad to travel to Brazil.
Meanwhile Diaby, who was named as a substitute against West Bromwich Albion last weekend, didn’t make an appearance but could see himself feature from the bench in his upcoming match against Norwich.
With the Gunners having already secured Champions League football after a fourth place finish, Arsene Wenger could now give many of his other players a chance to play with the season coming to a close.
