Norwich midfielder Leroy Fer has signed for Queens Park Rangers to become Harry Redknapp’s fifth signing of the transfer window, Skysports reports.
The 24-year-old central midfielder completed his switch Loftus Road and has already penned a three-year contract to finalize proceedings.
He made 29 appearances for the Canaries, scoring three goals and has already featured at the World Cup for the Dutch national team, and is now looking forward to his career at QPR.
“I can’t wait to get started here,” he said. “It was always my dream to stay in England, in the Premier League. QPR did well last season to come up and the squad is full of top players, so I’m delighted to be here.
“Harry told me I was a big target for him and when you hear that from a coach, you want to work with them and play for them. I’m just looking forward to showing what I’m capable of here at QPR.”
Fer joins Rio Ferdinand, Steven Caulker, Mauricio Isla, and Jordan Mutch at the club and could even be given his Premier League debut this weekend against Tottenham Hotspur.
