Everton manager Roberto Martinez is hoping to bring both Lacina Traore and Romelu Lukaku back to Goodison Park this summer.
Traore failed to make much of an impact after turning down a move to West Ham in January, mainly due to injury.
However Martinez saw enough in training that he makes him want to bring the Ivorian to Merseyside on a permanent basis.
The Lukaku deal is somewhat more complicated though, with numerous clubs wanting to sign the Belgian on either a permanent or loan basis.
Martinez knows that he need to add strikers to his squad and is doing all he can to make it happen.
“At the moment we are still talking with Monaco,” he told evertonfc.com.
“With Lacina, it is a three-way conversation and it will go a bit further down the line before we take a final decision.
“But we always wanted Lacina to be with us and to play his football with us, and that hasn’t changed at all.”
Martinez also wants Lukaku to return to Goodison Park and is hoping to hear the outcome soon.
“We know the potential of Romelu and Chelsea have been very good with the player and we have been really close with our relationship.
“We need to find out where we are and there is nothing more to comment.
“Every time we spoke about Rom’s situation it was very clear that he wanted to go to the World Cup and then make a decision.
“Obviously it is not going to take too long from now on.”
