David Moyes: Leeds v Everton: September 2012

Everton manager David Moyes has been dismissed in the running to be the next Manchester United manager the Sunday Express exclusively report.

Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that he still has a few years left in him to continue the success at Old Trafford but the United hierarchy are already lining up his successor should he call it time in the near future.

Some experts feel that if United win the Champions League and Premier League double this season then Fergie will hang up his coat, watch and chewing gum and leave the Red Devils on a high.

Moyes has been hugely successful at Everton and behind Ferguson and Arsene Wenger, is one of the longest serving bosses in English and world football.

However United are keen on brining someone in who has a wealth of European experience which rules out the much fancied Moyes taking the hot seat in Manchester.
