The Belgian youngster swapped the blue of the Londoners for that of the Toffees last year on a season-long basis, and has been in terrific form under the guidance of Roberto Martinez.
Despite him having hit 14 goals in all competitions, Chelsea are rumoured to be willing to offload the 20-year-old in the coming off-season, which has alerted a host of clubs.
Everton themselves are said to be interested in taking him on a permanent basis, while Tottenham and a selection of foreign sides have also been linked with moves for the forward who has been compared to former Premier League superstar Didier Drogba.
But Lukaku himself says that he is just focused on helping his current side to break into the top four and getting himself ready for the World Cup later this year:
“I’m trying not to look too far ahead for now,” he is quoted by The Express.
“I’m still two years under contract at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“This is a team that is growing and for me, I just want to help Everton instead of thinking about myself and the next step.
“There are so many things on the horizon – like big games against Man United and City, then the World Cup – so I have to give it a place in my head but not focus on it.
“For now, it’s just helping Everton finish fourth and then we’ll see.”
