Everton looking to cash in on duo
The Toffees are still reeling from their 3-0 defeat against Wigan last weekend and are preparing to rethink their strategy to improve the team, as the players and Manager David Moyes were heavily booed during the game.
David Moyes hasn’t signed a new deal and is rumoured to be leaving Goodison Park when his contract runs out in the summer; however his disappointment at losing on Saturday was obvious but denied that there was any impact on his career decision.
Marouane Fellaini was one of the players booed during Saturday’s game and was jeered off the pitch and he subsequently cancelled an autograph signing session with the fans that had been arranged for after the game.
Chelsea have been interested in signing Fellaini in previous transfer windows and they are likely to revisit this possible move again this summer.
Highly rated left-back Leighton Baines has been courted by Sir Alex Ferguson for a few years now and is likely to be keen to revisit a move for the full back if Everton make it clear it’s their intention to sell.
Everton feel they are in need of a complete team rebuild and are set to cash in on their big stars to bring in funds in excess of £40million for David Moyes, or a new manager, to spend.
