Everton’s manager Roberto Martinez made his way to the Holland training camp in order to personally scout a trio of Dutch stars, Daily Mail reports.
He was spotted alongside former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, with his scouting mission being targeted at Jeremain Lens, Bruno Martins Indi, and Stefan de Vrij.
Lens, 26, has already netted eight goals in 22 matches for the national team, with the latest coming from their 2-0 win over Wales last week.
Feyenoord defensive duo Martins Indi and De Vrij are just 22-years-old, but have already played over 100 matches apiece for their clubs in the Dutch top flight.
De Vrij recently revealed his intentions of wanting a move away from the Eredivisie side, but Martinez will have to compete with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur for his signature.
The Toffees boss only just missed out on the Champions League, but will still play in the Europa League as he begins searching for reinforcements to keep the squad fresh in both domestic and European matches.
