Everton ready to make move for Liverpool ace

Everton are rumoured to be weighing up a £5 million offer for Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam, Mirror Football claim.

The Anfield side are looking to revamp their squad this summer, with Fabio Borini and Joe Allen already added to Brendan Rodgers’ squad during the transfer window.

As the Merseysiders look to wrap up a loan move for Nuri Sahin, opportunities for Adam are thought to be in short supply, with the Northern Irish coach ready to part with the Scotland international.

Everton have lost Jack Rodwell to Manchester City this summer, and David Moyes wants to invest around a third of the fee on bringing his countryman to Goodison Park.
