Former Chelsea star Samuel Eto’o, whose one-year contract with the Blues just ended, is open to staying in the Premier League with Arsenal and Everton both interested in his services, talkSPORT reports.
Eto’o has yet to find a new club after leaving Stamford Bridge on a free, but has recently expressed his desire to have one final season in the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal are currently in the market for another striker and could make an offer for the experienced Cameroon international, who would take some pressure off Olivier Giroud.
Everton are also keen in bringing the 33-year-old to Merseyside, having lost Romelu Lukaku back to Chelsea after a season on loan.
However Eto’o is also in demand all across Europe, and his public Tweet has suggested he has offers from clubs in six different countries.
The Tweet read: “Italy? Spain? France? UK? Turkey? USA?????”
The inclusion of USA raises the possibility that he could follow a few other veterans to the MLS, with Frank Lampard and David Villa already set to move to the United States when their new season begins.
