Arsenal are preparing a £51million offer to beat Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani, Express reports.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the Uruguayan in recent weeks and are reportedly willing to spend a massive £51million to bring Cavani to the Emirates.
Spanish journalist Kike Marin has added fuel to the speculation by claiming that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is closely monitoring PSG’s deal for Angel di Maria, with the capture of the Argentine key in the French side offloading Cavani.

PSG are currently restricted due to sanctions imposed by the Financial Fair Play regulations, meaning they are required to sell before being able to purchase.
Cavani only moved to the Parisian outfit last year but is unhappy being played out of position due to coach Laurent Blanc’s preference to play Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the lone striker.
This has alerted a host of clubs, including Premier League trio Chelsea, Liverpool, and Man United for his services.
Despite being mainly used on the PSG wing, Cavani still managed to score 25 goals in all competitions for the Ligue-1 champions.
