Roma who are now set to take part in the Champions League next year are looking to make a move for Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku to add to their attack next season, according to TalkSPORT.
Lukaku is currently a very popular transfer target for many clubs looking for a striker and with his loan contract at Everton coming to an end, Chelsea will need to decide the fate of the highly rated Belgian.
Roberto Martinez was hoping to keep his services for another season, but with his team’s hopes of playing in the Champions League looking bleak, the Toffees look set to lose their on-loan striker.
Italian side Roma is looking to bring the 20-year-old striker to the club on loan for next season with an additional option to make the move permanent at a later date.
The Belgian’s future is currently in the hands of Jose Mourinho and his parent club Chelsea as they will need to decide whether he has a role to play for the Blues next season or not.
