Serie A side Fiorentina are hoping to hold on to star man Juan Cuadrado this summer despite major interest, as reported by Sky Sports.
The Colombian had an impressive World Cup for the dark horses and now Barcelona and Arsenal are set to pounce with bids of around £25million expected to be enough to lure the 26-year-old away from Italy.
Barcelona are the favourites but boss Luis Enrique is focusing more on bringing Luis Suarez to the club, leaving Arsenal with a chance to steal in and get the deal done.
Viola owner Andrea Della Valle has admitted it will be tough to keep Cuadrado but not something he is giving up on.
“To keep Cuadrado will be difficult but not impossible,” Fiorentina owner Della Valle said to Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I am used to dealing with complicated challenges.
“It’s not just Barcelona but there are many others (clubs).”
Cuadrado will return to pre season training later this month and his future will be sorted until then.
