Juventus could make another move to sign Patrice Evra with the recent arrival of Luke Shaw from Southampton, Express reports.
It was believed that the French left-back was on his way to Italy after passing a medical with his contract nearing an end.
However, Evra decided to remain at Manchester United by extending his stay for a further one year and has said to be looking forward to working with Louis van Gaal.
With Shaw completing his move to United, there will surely be competition for places at the left back slot between the pair.
The Turin giants could give Evra a chance to concrete his place in their defence by tabling a new offer to bring him to the Serie A, and another pop at Champions League football.
Van Gaal may decide not to let him leave as former Monaco man still has a lot to offer and may be the perfect role model for their new signing.
