Liverpool star Jordan Henderson is adamant that the Reds will not crash out of the FA Cup like their Premier League rivals, according to reports from the Express.

On Saturday the beauty of the FA Cup was all to see as favourites Chelsea, Manchester City, Southampton, and Tottenham were all knocked out by their underdog opponents.

However with the Reds managing a draw against Bolton, Henderson is already just delighted that they are still in the running for the cup.

"It was obviously a big shock for City, Chelsea and Tottenham to go out but the main thing is we are still in the competition," he said.

"To be honest we were pretty focused on what we were doing but the results came on the tannoy and one or two players might have heard but at the same time we just focused on what we needed to do.

"We've seen it for many years, lower league teams have beaten Premier League teams and Saturday was no different but we have shown good character to not lose the game and that is the main thing.

"We are a bit disappointed we didn't win but we are still in the draw and are looking forward to the game on Tuesday."

Chelsea went two goals in front at Stamford Bridge against Bradford City and looked to be cruising to victory, but the Robins managed to score four without reply knocking the current Premier League leaders out of the competition.

In the other David versus Goliath game, Middlesbrough travelled to the Etihad and scored two goals to beat the mighty Manchester City.

Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace also continued their winning streak after a blistering start to the game which saw four goals in the first 21 minutes, before Marouane Chamakh scored his second and his side’s third to knock Southampton out with a 3-2 result.
