Liverpool are ready to snatch Belgium star Divock Origi from the hands of Arsenal and Tottenham this summer, Daily Mail reports.
Origi has been extremely impressive for Belgium in the World Cup, which has alerted several top European clubs.
However Liverpool look to have stolen the march on Arsenal and Spurs by promising to loan the striker back to Lille after a £6million bid.
The 19-year-old starlet has recently expressed his desire to play in the English Premier League, but is still considering his options.
“As a little boy I always dreamed of playing in the Premier League,”’ said Origi.
“But I’m still young and now I’m in an important tournament so I’m trying to focus on the team. Then my entourage will see with Lille what I will do.”
Origi scored his country’s winner in their second World Cup fixture, which secured Belgium’s progression to the knock-out stages.
The goal earned him the landmark of being Belgium’s youngest World Cup goalscorer at 19 years, two months, and four days.
