Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has admitted that the Reds are in a good position but doesn’t want to get carried away in terms of a title challenge, as reported by Sky Sports.

The former Sunderland playmaker has grown into a key cog at Anfield these days and is now one of Brendan Rodgers’ first names on the team sheet.

Henderson has also been recalled to the England squad for the game with Denmark this week, capping a fine season so far from the 23 year old.

Liverpool moved to second in the Premier League with an impressive win against Southampton on Saturday but the midfielder is keeping his feet planted.

“We have just got to keep our feet on the ground,” he said.

“We are very confident but at the same time there is a long way to go so we’ve have just got to take each game at it comes.

“We’ve got some quality players here and are working very well, so we will take each game as it comes and see where we finish.”
