Roy Hodgson’s England have been handed a huge boost in the World Cup this summer with the news that Luis Suarez could be ruled out with a knee injury, according to reports.
The Liverpool striker is reportedly set to undergo knee surgery today after suffering meniscus damage during training with Uruguay on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old netted 31 Premier League goals last season and was expected to take Brazil by storm this summer, as well being one of the biggest threats to England’s chances of progressing past the group stages.
And England will hoping Suarez will be sidelined for their Group D meeting with Uruguay in Sao Paolo on June 19.
