Top Manchester United target Arturo Vidal has admitted to the press that he won’t be making a switch to Old Trafford in the summer and is meeting with his club representatives to clarify his future, SkySPORTS reports.
The 27-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best central midfielders in the world, has revealed he was happy in the Italian Serie A and will be looking to continue his successful spell in the league.
He said: “I’m still on holiday at the moment. Can I say I’m staying at Juve? I don’t know. On Monday I’ll talk to Allegri then we’ll see.
“I’m happy here. I’m calm. I believe Juve fans can be too. I still haven’t spoken to Allegri or my team-mates.”
However, when asked about the potential switch to Old Trafford, Vidal simply replied: “No, no.”
United aren’t the only Premier League side after the Chiliean international with Liverpool recently declaring their intent to strengthen their squad as they prepared themselves to meet the opening bid set by the Red Devils.
According to his statement, it looks as though he could very well remain in Italy, but nothing will be confirmed until he has the opportunity to hold talks with his current employer.
