Manchester City completed their Capital One Cup rout of West Ham with a 3-0 win at Upton Park.

Alvaro Negredo and Sergio Aguero – each ably assisted by 18-year old Marcos Lopes – scored within the game’s early stages to quell any hope of the most unlikely comeback of all time.

After the interval, Negredo showed just why he’s nicknamed The Beast by muscling in to dink home.

Here’s what Twitter said about the game’s key moments…

3rd minute – Negredo heads in after sloppy marking by West Ham

24th minute – GOAL CITY Aguero takes it wide and bangs it in from close range. Delicate finish.

59 minutes – Goal for Negredo. How he scored we don’t know, but beautiful little dink over the keeper from close range
