Manchester United target Angel di Maria is subject of a massive £63million bid from Paris Saint-Germain, Express reports.
The Real Madrid star is deemed surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu and according to Spanish newspaper MARCA, PSG are willing to cross the Financial Fair Play regulations in order to land the winger.
The French club are already in trouble with FIFA, being fined £20million for breaking the rules last season with the punishment expected to increase if again found guilty.
PSG coach Laurent Blanc has already spent £50million to sign Chelsea defender David Luiz, which had made him consider a loan deal for Di Maria.
However with Real Madrid needing an influx in cash after the combined £87million expenditure for Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez, a loan move is not a valid option.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with the 26-year-old Argentine over the summer, but chief executive Ed Woodward isn’t willing to match the £63million offered by PSG.
A move for Di Maria to Ligue-1 could open the door for several players to depart PSG, with Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Pastore both targeted by Liverpool after Loic Remy’s failed transfer.
