Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is preparing a £30million swoop for Feyenoord duo Jordy Clasie and Bruno Martind Indi, Express reports.
Van Gaal, currently managing the Dutch national team, has called up both midfielder Clasie and centre-back Indi Martins over the past two years and they played pivotal roles in Holland’s qualification for the World Cup.
And is now reported that the former Bayern Munich boss is looking to bring the pair over to Old Trafford in his attempts to reignite the glory days back at Manchester United.
Clasie has been touted as Holland’s rising star, playing in the central midfield role – a position Man United have been looking to fill ever since the retirement of Paul Scholes.
On the other hand Martins Indi is a towering defender, who will slot into the void left by Nemanja Vidic’s and Rio Ferdinand’s departure.
It seems that Van Gaal is not interested in Bayern’s Toni Kroos and Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas, who have both been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
However he has welcomed the United board’s decision to pursue Southampton left-back Luke Shaw, as well as closely monitoring the situation of Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman.
