Manchester United’s Patrice Evra looks set to make a move to the Italian Serie A after agreeing terms with Juventus for a £1.2 million move, Mirror reports.
The offer includes a two-year deal in Turin where the left-back will receive wages of £55,000-a-week and is said to be better than what he is currently on, despite him signing a new contract at United.
With the arrival of Luke Shaw from Southampton, Evra is looking very likely to lose his first team place while in Italy, he could be given a starting berth along with Champions League football.
The club wanted to retain the services of the 33-year-old for another season, but it is believed that the player’s wife was keen on making a switch away from England.
Louis van Gaal and the side will not reject the proposed move and has opened talks allowing their defender to leave at a very reasonable price.
