Even though the transfer deadline day has come to a close, Manchester United are already preparing a sensational £60million bid to land Paul Pogba next summer, Express reports.
The 21-year-old is currently in negotiations which Juventus over a new deal, but with his contract expiring in 2016, agreements need to be reached or the Serie A side could risk losing their star midfielder on a free transfer.
Club CEO Beppe Marotta clarified that talks were under way as they could complete formalities very soon.
He said: “Pogba? We have had some negotiation with his agents, we hope to arrive at a positive conclusion shortly.”
With United already monitoring his situation, if anything falls through, they look to be ready to once again splash the cash to land the £60million valued French star, who is also a target for both Real Madrid and Chelsea.
Pogba was part of the youth set-up at Old Trafford in 2009, but his limited first team opportunities saw him leave on a free transfer to the Italian side where he became one of the best central midfielders in the world.
