Manchester United have made their last bid in hopes of signing Arturo Vidal from Juventus with a final offer of £39million, TalkSPORT reports.
Louis van Gaal has made the Chilean star a top transfer target ever since his appointment before the start of the World Cup, and could finalize a deal in the coming days or risk losing him altogether.
The Serie A side, however, have issued a hands off warning time and time again despite the the player also being chased by Liverpool and Chelsea.
They see him as a very important member of their squad, having won the Italian league three consecutive times in the 2011-2012, 2012-2013, and 2013-2014 seasons.
Although Vidal’s club are unwilling to sell him, it is believed that the 27-year-old is considering his options and is also open to working under United’s new boss.
The Dutch manager has been targeting a midfield overhaul as he has already added the likes of Ander Herrera from Athletic Bilbao into his squad.
