Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa will not be leaving Old Trafford this month, as reported by Sky Sports.

Kagawa’s agent Thomas Kroth has revealed that his client wants to stay and fight for his place under David Moyes despite interest from major European clubs.

Former club Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a move for the Japanese international along with Atletico Madrid and AC Milan.

Having not started as many games as he would have liked this season, Kagawa may slip down the pecking order even further if United sign Juan Mata over the weekend as expected for a club record transfer fee.

The 24 year old is not interesting in taking the easy option and leaving though and Moyes has been urged to use Kagawa more often in order to turn things around at Old Trafford with the Red Devils outside of the European spots in the Premier League and now out of both domestic cups.

“At this moment I am sure Shinji will stay. There has been no contact and so it is just rumours,” Kroth told Sky Sports.

Yes, he should leave Old Trafford for any place where his talent is well performed.
