Manchester United’s David De Gea has recently expressed his intentions of trying to lure long-term target Cesc Fabregas to finally make the switch from Barcelona, Express reports.
De Gea will be with Fabregas with the pair selected for Spain at the World Cup and has admitted that he would love to see his national team mate join him in England and make his return to the Premier League.
The Red Devils keeper stated that: “He [Fabregas] is a top player, there are many clubs who want him and are in Barcelona, the club of his life.
“I have spoken to him to go to Manchester, but it will be complicated.”
Louis van Gaal is trying to take another crack at luring the Spanish star to Old Trafford and with news that his target is feeling unsettled at his current club, a potential offer could possibly be made.
A bid of about £40 million is said to be ready should the Red Devils agree to launch a formal offer for the play-maker with Chelsea, Manchester City, and former team Arsenal all monitoring the situation.
