Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has revealed that joining Manchester United has been a dream of his for a while, as reported by Sky Sports.
The Chilean midfielder has impressed on each occasion he has needed to for club and country and United boss Louis van Gaal, who takes full time charge next week, wants to bring him to England as soon as possible.
Vidal looks the complete midfielder, something very much missing from the United side last season, and could join Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw at Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old has revealed that he has a soft spot for United as they are one of the biggest clubs in the world, despite missing out on Europe last season.
“I’ve heard about the rumours, but I haven’t spoken more about this subject,” Vidal told Chile’s La Tercera.
“I’m enjoying my holidays, and when I return to Italy I’ll see what happens.
“I’m very calm, but anyone would love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
