Manchester United target Miranda has confirmed that his agent is currently in discussions involving a move away from Atletico Madrid to England, Metro reports.
Miranda was a key component in Atletico’s amazing success last season, as the Spanish outfit won the league and made it to the UEFA Champions League final.
And the Brazilian has been linked with a move away from the Vincent Calderon, with Barcelona and Manchester United both interested.
Earlier reports from Spain suggested that the Red Devils have already agreed on a deal, but United quashed those claims.
However the 29-year-old has now revealed that his agent is in talks with at least one English club, with the possibility that one of them will activate his £24million release clause.
“I have some offers and we are negotiating,” he told ESPN Brazil.
“I have offers from Spanish and English leagues and from some less important ones too.
“My agent is in Europe to decide my future, my buy-out fee at Atletico Madrid is 30million euros, but that can be negotiated.”
United manager Louis van Gaal is on the lookout for defenders, after Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand left the club at the end of the season.
