France national boss Didier Deschamps has praised Anthony Martial for his stunning start to life at Manchester United, but warned that his current purple patch cannot last forever. The Red Devils splashed the cash to bring the teenager from Monaco over the summer and the striker has repaid the Old Trafford outfit’s faith with four goals in four games so far for his new club. Many are comparing Martial to former Arsenal hero Thierry Henry, with Louis van Gaal’s side clearly a more dangerous outfit with the France international leading the line.Deschamps has praised Martial for his ability but also warned that a player so young is destined to have a dip in form further down the track.“The potential was there but there were a lot of people who were surprised that he's been so effective,” the Les Bleus boss is quoted as saying by The Daily Mail.“But he has that quality and he's surrounded by good players. It's good for him because it's not easy with everything that was said and written about him.“In terms of potential, he has everything. He's young so he might have some more difficult periods later. But he's capable of doing some very good things.“He did so at Monaco and now he's doing it at another level with Manchester United so it takes on even more significance. The quality of the player is there anyway.”Martial’s arrival has taken some of the goalscoring burden away from Wayne Rooney and allowed the club captain to drop into the number ten role behind the summer signing.United take on Arsenal on Sunday in what should be a mouthwatering clash.
