On his first day as Manchester United boss, Louis van Gaal is set to begin his club overhaul by offloading about seven or more players, Daily Star reports.
He has already compiled a list of possible candidates who he sees as ones that do not fit into the style and formation he has set up for their upcoming campaign.
Many believe that the like of Anderson, Javier Hernandez, Wilfried Zaha, Nani, Tom Cleverley, Chris Smalling, and Bebe are very close to an Old Trafford exit.
In addition, Darren Fletcher, Ashley Young, and Rafael could also be on the list and could very well be given their last chance to prove their worth during pre-season preparations.
Van Gaal has already met the United back-room staff as well as the squad, but could hold face-to-face talks with the candidates likely to be heading elsewhere.
The Dutch boss took over from David Moyes and is seen as the one who can bring the Red Devils back to the top after a turbulent previous season, with the side finishing in seventh place.
