Marseille forward Andre Ayew is unsure what the summer holds for him with a new contract extension yet to be offered, as reported by Sky Sports.
The Ghana international, who is set to be in their World Cup squad to face Germany and Portugal in June, has failed to make a starting position his this season with just 15 appearances and lack of domestic goals to shout about.
Newcastle made a move for the French-born forward back in August but the 24 year old decided to stay with the Ligue 1 side who are struggling to qualify for Europe next season, leaving suitors ready to pounce again this summer.
Ayew has just 18 months left on his contract and is yet to be offered a new deal so the summer could be interesting if Newcastle come calling again.
“I would not change my decision at the last moment.” Ayew told L’Equipe
“Indeed next June I will have just one year remaining on my contract. So there are questions the club and me are thinking about.
“Have I received an offer of an extension? We have not reached that point so far.
“When the officials will be ready, or if they want to propose me anything, we will see.”
