Hatem Ben Arfa is likely to express his anger at Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew by refusing to leave the club while waiting for his contract to expire, despite the fact he will most probably not feature for the first team, Mirror reports.
Relations between the the pair seemed to have broken down towards the end of last season with the player being banned from training with the senior team.
Upon his return to pre-season training, Ben Arfa was still not allowed to train with the first team and it looks as though his Newcastle career could be over.
However, instead of opting for a move away from St James’ Park, the 27-year-old is willing to sit out his remaining one year deal so the club can expect a loss as he will be allowed to leave for free.
The Magpies has placed a £3 million price tag on the French ace with Pardew facing further set-backs in failing to sell some of his under performing stars in order to make funds available for additional transfers.
