Roman Pavlyuchenko’s deal to join Lokomotiv Moscow is far from complete alerting both Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United, according to the Metro.

The 29-year-old had reportedly agreed personal terms with the Russian club after he expressed his desire to leave White Hart Lane. However,  Spurs are yet to agree a fee with Moscow and Pavlyuchenko’s agent, Oleg Artemov, is open to any offers that are made for his client.

“Roman has one-and-a-half years left on his contract with Tottenham,” Artemov told Sport Express. “And who found out that it's Lokomotiv that has agreed anything with him?

“He hasn't signed anything. There are more offers. We are learning, analysing and talking about them.”

Artemov confirmed that Lokomotiv are not the only club that has enquired about his player and so Pav’s Premier League stay could continue. Newcastle are looking to bolster their attacking options with Demba Ba consistently isolated at the Sports Direct Arena and QPR have struggled for goals this season after injuries to DJ Campbell and Jay Bothroyd.

The Russian international is hoping to cement a place in both his club and country side ahead of the Euro 2012 next summer and is currently fourth choice at White Hart Lane. Tottenham are happy to allow Pavlyuchenko to leave for the right price as they are also in the market for a top class striker in January.
