Paris Saint-Germain are attempting to bring Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris back to Ligue-1 with a big-money raid, Mirror reports.

The French champions will need to shell out £20m for Tottenham to release their first choice keeper.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, however, hopes to keep the French captain at White Hart Lane by offering him a new lucrative contract.

Lloris has mentioned his disappointment with the club’s absence in the UEFA Champions League and could look for a move in order to satisfy his demands.

PSG currently lead the race for the 27-year-old, with Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Monaco all monitoring the situation.

The Qatari-owned club have already completed the deal for Chelsea center-back David Luiz, breaking the world record transfer fee for a defender at £50million.

And now they are set to take another player from the Premier League with Lloris the number one goalkeeper target this summer.

Chelsea’s Petr Cech has been considered as an alternative to Hugo Lloris, with the imminent return of Thibaut Courtois possibly pushing the Czech international out of Stamford Bridge.

It seems Salvatore Sirigu could be heading for the exit door at the Parc des Princes amidst PSG’s interest in signing a new number one.
