With the recent confirmation of David Luiz joining Paris Saint Germain, the French club aren’t stopping there as they begin preparations to sign Chelsea’s goalkeeper Petr Cech as well, Metro reports.
A £50 million move for Luiz is set to be completed in the coming days and Cech could very well follow his defensive team mate over to Paris, with the side also rumoured to be chasing Eden Hazard.
Jose Mourinho could agree an exit deal for the Blues’ number one keeper in order to make room for Thibaut Courtois, who is currently on loan with La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.
The arrival of Courtois would mean he would immediately be placed as Mourinho’s new first choice keeper after a great season in Spain, winning the Spanish league as well as reaching the UEFA Champions League final.
The Belgium keeper also highlighted the fact that he doesn’t look forward to battling for a first team place with the current club number one.
In addition to acquiring the services of the Czech Republic keeper, PSG are also eyeing another huge £50 million offer for Hazard despite the board expecting to be punished for breaching the Financial Fair Play rules.
