Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is wanted by Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal according to the Daily Mirror.

Manchester United are keen to replace David De Gea as their number one after a string of mistakes has made Sir Alex Ferguson lose confidence in the young stopper.

Manchester City are looking for competition for Joe Hart, after his inconsistent displays at times this season, while Arsenal and Liverpool have both been rumoured to have an interest in the Bosnian goalkeeper too.

The 25 year old has been Stoke’s best player this season and he is reportedly in favour of a move to Old Trafford in the summer despite Ferguson’s constant rotation of ‘keepers.

Stoke are not keen on selling and will put up a similar fight as they do on the pitch to prevent a key player leaving the Britannia Stadium this month or in the summer.
