Werder Bremen attacker Aaron Hunt has revealed that he will decide on his future within the next few weeks, as reported by Sky Sports.

Hunt’s contract is expiring at the end of the season and although he has been offered an extension, interest from elsewhere may have turned his head.

Southampton are the main Premier League suitors but Stoke, West Ham and Fulham are also keen to bring Hunt to England on a free transfer in the summer.

The full German international has spent his entire career with Bremen making over 200 appearances but the 27 year old may not get a better opportunity than this to have a fresh challenge.

“We have talked about it,” he told Sky Deutschland television.

“My plan is to put up the decision during the next month.

“I may have decided it by mid-month or at least at the end of the month.”

English clubs are able to offer Hunt a pre-contract now for the summer and are likely to do so this month if their interest is serious.
