Chelsea will need to be ready to consider multiple offers for Petr Cech if Jose Mourinho decides to go with Thibaut Courtois as his new number one, Daily Mail reports.
Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Monaco are all believed to be closely monitoring the situation of the Blues goalkeeper with the final team selection likely to be made on Sunday.
There is no clear favourites for the role as Mourinho prepares to make a very tough decision regarding his new keeper ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Courtois was present throughout 90 minutes in the club’s latest match against Real Sociedad, while Cech has been playing the role for the past 12 years.
The 22-year-old Belgium keeper has been warned by his international boss Marc Wilmots that if he was unable to become the first choice selection, he could risk losing his national team role as well.
Wilmots said: “Courtois will remain my No 1. But I know he could end up on the bench at Chelsea.
“In that case I will re-assess.”
