Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti is set to snub interest from Arsenal and Manchester United by committing his long-term future with the Ligue-1 club, talkSPORT reports.
The Italy midfielder has recently been linked with a move to the Premier League, with the Gunners and United both keen to sign the 21-year-old star.
Dubbed as the ‘next Andrea Pirlo’, Verratti joined PSG for a £10million fee back in 2012 from Pescara and has cemented himself as one of the stars at the Parc des Princes.
However as his performances improved, so did his demand as clubs circled looking to sign the highly-rated youngster.
European champions Real Madrid were reportedly looking to offer him a huge salary increase with a late bid during the latter stages of the transfer window to replace Xabi Alonso, who departed to Bayern Munich.
However it seems that Verratti is planning to stay with the French champions by preparing to sign a five-year contract, which is set to match his salary demands.
