Arsenal are looking to sign Mario Balotelli from AC Milan, and Puma are going to help them do so, Football-Italia reports.
Puma, who are currently sponsoring the Italian, also announced a partnership deal with Arsenal in January.
And with the striker’s future at Milan in doubt, reports from Italy suggest that the sports conglomerate will aid the Gunners in their chase for Balotelli.
Sky Sport Italia pundit Mario Giunta stated: “Arsenal are very interested in Balotelli and Arsene Wenger would do anything to bring him to London.
“This operation could be pushed forward by the technical sponsor, who Balotelli shares with Arsenal.
“To have Balotelli in the Premier League for Arsenal would be an important investment.”
Balotelli was part of the Manchester City side that won their first Premier League trophy back in 2012, assisting Sergio Aguero for the title-winning goal against Queens Park Rangers.
However off-field issues caused the 23-year-old to be unhappy at the Etihad, before leaving to join his beloved AC Milan in the January of 2013.
Balotelli is currently with the Italian national squad in Brazil, preparing for their first World Cup game against England this Saturday.
