Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that the Hoops will need to sign a number of players in order to compete in the Premier League next season.
Rangers earned promotion back to the top flight with a last gasp Bobby Zamora in the play final at Wembley against Derby last Saturday.
Redknapp has not been shy in the transfer market throughout his career, but especially at QPR where he has constantly chopped and the changed the faces in the dressing room.
The former West Ham and Tottenham manager is keen to get the players in as soon as possible to build for next season.
“We need a few [players],” the Rs boss told London24.
“We’re going to have to look round quickly and find the right kind of players.
“You don’t want to be taking gambles bringing crap players in.”
He added: “I haven’t got a list. I’ve never thought about a player – on my wife’s life. I’ve never thought about one player in any division.
“My focus was on the final. You get beat there you’re back in the Championship. You’d have been looking at different players to the Premier. Who knows what would have happened?”
