Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has taken a swipe at the written press after his future at Loftus Road was questioned this week, as reported by Sky Sports.
Rangers have lost their last three games and have slipped well adrift of the automatic promotion places in the Championship.
QPR were pre-season favourites to bounce straight back to the Premier League and Redknapp spent big money again last summer, as well as adding numerous loanees to his squad, to enhance their chances.
Reports suggested this week that if QPR were to lose today’s lunchtime kick off against Leeds at Loftus Road then the former West Ham boss could be shown the door.
Redknapp disagrees and stuck the knife into the media speculating about him.
“Load of rubbish, absolute nonsense, absolute load of rubbish,” said Redknapp.
“As far as I know it is, we are sitting fourth in the division.
“Do you think I take notice of what some idiot writes in a newspaper?
“Why would I bother about what someone writes? Not a minute’s problem.”
