QPR have joined the long list of clubs chasing highly-rated Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.

The 20-year-old impressed during two separate loan stints away from west London last season, netting 22 goals in total for MK Dons in League One and Derby County in the Championship.

Despite being a part of Chelsea’s pre-season plans, Bamford is expected to leave Stamford Bridge once again for 2014/15, and has already been the subject of numerous loan offers.

And now QPR are a side in the hunt, with Harry Redknapp desperate to add to his attacking ranks.

The Super Hoops are short on numbers after releasing a number of stars following promotion, and ‘Arry is keen to get fresh faces in.

Wolves are thought to be a side that are particularly keen on the young marksman, but the lure of top tier action at Loftus Road may appeal to him more.

Furthermore Jose Mourinho could well appreciate the chance to see the starlet test his abilities at the top level as he plans for the future.
